Again in 2025 China was the undisputedly top market for Italy’s raw stone materials.
According to data from the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Studies Center, last year Italy’s exports of marble and granite blocks to the Asian giant reached a new peak of $US 273.8 million, a 10.7% increase from 2024. China’s share of all of Italy’s raw stone exports was 49.9%.
In addition, last year Italy sold China finished stone products worth 16 million and extraction and processing technologies for another 9.5 million, for total Italian stone industry exports to China worth nearly $US 300 million (+3.9% from 2024).
