Italian exports of stone-working machinery and equipment down 14.6% in the first nine months of 2016

While showing a recoup from the first quarter of 2016 – when sales had dropped 17.5% – the figures for the first nine months of the year show a decrease in exports from the Italian stone technology industry of 14.6% from the same period in 2015. In fact, the official statistics that the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Studies Center processed on the basis of ISTAT data show that in the third quarter of the year foreign sales for machinery and equipment for extracting and processing natural stones had revenue of around 734 million euros, while in the same period in 2015 they brought in 859,3 million.
