Signs of a rebound are coming from the German stone market. According to statistics processed by the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Studies Center, in the first ten months of 2025 Germany’s total imports of natural stones in fact grew by 43.3% from the same period the previous year, amounting to worth of $US 510 million.
The number one supplier was Italy, which exported stone materials to Germany worth $US 136.8 million (+9.4%), 122.1 million in finished and semi-finished products (+8.4%) and 14.7 in raw stone (+19.7%). Germany’s second-ranking supplier was China, with 98.5 million in exports, followed by India (63.6 million), Spain (53.3 million) and Turkey (43.2 million).
